Quest Liner acquires ITS

On Saturday, Feb. 9, Quest Liner representatives met with the employees and contractors of Integrated Transportation Services (ITS), of Houston, to announce the upcoming acquisition of ITS by Quest Liner. The move was effective Feb. 24. In a breakfast meeting with the current owners, Tina and Gary Blalock, and their employees and contractors, Quest Liner president Greg McCoy outlined the acquisition plan and encouraged the group to continue to provide safe and dependable transportation service as the two companies come together. Foodliner committed to the environment

Mid-west based Foodliner is one of the largest bulk food haulers in America. In 2010, Foodliner expanded their fleet to include 6 new Compressed Natural Gas tractors for use in daily deliveries. Refueling along their routes is made easy thanks to a public access CNG fueling station in Des Plaines, Illinois. The company is looking into adding other CNG trucks with specialized equipment to accommodate their delivery of corn syrup and other liquid foods.

PAT O’MALLEY:  The next step will be to get an engine and transmission that in combination we can put a PTO and a hydraulic pump onto our tractor—then we’ll be able to delivery to anybody.

The CNG trucks were acquired with the help of federal funding through the Chicago Area Alternative Fuels Deployment Project. In less than a year, Foodliner’s CNG trucks displaced over 30,000 gallons of gasoline-a sweet alt-fuel success story from the Land of Lincoln.

Foodliner Mexico is proud to announce the recent launch of our website. Our site has been designed and thought through for easy access by our Customers, Teammates and friends. It is designed bilingual, just go to the top and click on the USA flag to access the same information in English. You can access through your computer or handheld device. We share information regarding the products we most commonly transport as well as the range of services we can provide when looking to send or receive your products from Mexico. We also have added a blog page, where we will be sharing important information about our industry.

At Foodliner we understand the importance of social networking and that is the reason we have created our Facebook  page, which you can access directly from our portal.
